David Dietrich is a Wealth Advisor with Dew Point Capital, Inc. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, David received his bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Sonoma State University while playing college golf. David has always had a passion for the stock market and a great desire to help others. He started his career in 2010 at Morgan Stanley with a focus on equity research. In 2015, David joined his close friend and mentor Bill Scanlon to help manage investments and client relationships at Advantage Capital Advisors LLC. With Bill’s untimely passing in 2021, David has taken on the mantle of Bill’s legacy.  

 

David specializes in working with entrepreneurs, professionals in the entertainment industry, and technology executives. He focuses on portfolio management and goals-based financial planning needs that include advanced strategies for tax minimization and stock-based compensation.

 

David grew up idolizing Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer and continues to pursue his passion as a scratch golfer by competing in local USGA Amateur competitions. When he is not working, David loves spending time with his family.
